Full Job Description
The City of Pittsburgh has multiple amazing opportunities for college internships (paid and unpaid) across almost every department of City government. These internships are designed to be part-time and flexible. The College Intern will have the opportunity to learn about public service, general operating procedures, and the workings of City government, as well as specific skills, which may include but are not limited to: budgeting, planning meetings and special events, researching and developing policy, analyzing data, inventory control, and developing reports, documenting procedures, time management, maintaining databases and customer service.

In general:
- Paid internships require City residency.

- To establish residency in a temporary role you must provide a Valid PA State ID or Driver's License, or one document from Column A or B- click to view.
- Unpaid internships do NOT require City residency.
- Applicants should be currently enrolled and taking classes in an accredited college or university undergraduate or graduate program; OR have graduated within the last six (6) months.
