Base salary range: $147,649 - $221,900

Note: Actual salary includes locality pay (15-40%+ depending on location).
This job involves providing hands-on daily care to veterans in a skilled nursing facility, such as helping with bathing, dressing, eating, and moving around, while keeping things clean and safe.
It's a role for compassionate people who enjoy supporting others and working in a team to meet residents' needs.
A good fit would be someone reliable with prior caregiving experience who wants to make a difference in a stable, low-turnover environment serving Colorado's veterans.

Office of Adult, Aging, and Disability Services
FULL BACKGROUND CHECK: This position will have direct contact with vulnerable persons (as defined by C.R.S.27-90-111: "Direct contact" means providing face-to-face care, training, supervision, counseling, consultation, or medication assistance to vulnerable persons, regardless of the level of supervision of the department employee.
"Direct contact" may include positions in which persons have access to or unsupervised time with clients or patients, including but not limited to maintenance personnel, housekeeping staff, kitchen staff, and security personnel.)
This position will also provide direct care to vulnerable adults requiring a CAPS check (as defined by C.R.S.
26-3.1-101, position provides services & support care to at-risk/vulnerable adults including case management, clergy, physical or mental health services, safety or welfare services)This position requires State of Colorado residency at the time of application (unless otherwise identified in the posting), and residency within the state throughout the duration of employment in this position.
Shift Work – While every effort will be made for the schedule to reflect the shift/days agreed upon by my supervisor and me, I understand I may be scheduled on different days/shifts based on facility needs.
While leadership will ask for overtime volunteers as a first-line strategy to relieve staffing shortages, I understand that I may be required to work overtime as a part of this position.
Shift work includes weekends, nights, and holidays.
