About the Position: This position is with the Defense Health Agency, Defense Health Network Indo-Pacific, at Brian D. Allgood Army Community Hospital, Camp Humphreys, Republic of Korea.

Serve as a Clinical Psychologist (Behavioral Health Consultant) for the Clinic and Behavioral Health System of Care, Primary Care Behavioral Health (PCBH) program.

This is a Direct Hire Solicitation Who May Apply: US Citizens In order to qualify, you must meet the education and experience requirements described below.

Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student; social).

You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience.

Additional information about transcripts is in this document. Basic Requirement for Clinical Psychologist (Behavioral Health Consultant):Degree: Doctoral Degree (Ph.D.

or equivalent) directly related to full professional work in clinical psychology.

AND License: The Clinical Psychologist position requires a current, active, valid, unrestricted clinical license to practice Psychology independently, offered by a U.S.

State, District of Columbia, commonwealth, territory or jurisdiction.

(NOTE: You must provide a copy of your license with your application package.)In addition to meeting the basic requirement above, to qualify for this position you must also meet the qualification requirements listed below: AND Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes conducting behavioral health assessments; providing individual and group treatment; and working as part of a multidisciplinary team.

This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-12). Major Duties:

• Apply biopsychosocial evaluations to propose behavioral health interventions.
• Provide evidence-based treatment, including behavioral, cognitive, and motivational approaches.
• Provide primary care providers and staff regular and concise feedback on the status of referred patients, to include recommendations for team-based care.
• Implement psychoeducational classes to target high frequency diagnoses found in the primary care clinic.
• Document information in the electronic health record during patient encounters.
