LICENSE: A current license to practice as a Registered Pharmacist*** issued by the California State Board of Pharmacy.
PHYSICAL CLASS III - Moderate: Includes standing or walking most of the time, with bending, stooping, squatting, twisting, and reaching; includes working on irregular surfaces, occasionally lifting objects weighing over 25 pounds, and frequent lifting of 10-25 pounds.SPECIAL REQUIREMENT INFORMATION:*Specialized clinical pharmacy experience in the County of Los Angeles is defined as: an in-depth knowledge of a particular field of work or discipline in such areas as Critical Care Units (MICU, SICU, NICU, Burn ICU), Oncology, Parenteral Nutrition, Ambulatory Care, Drug Utilization Review, Anti-Coagulation, Purchasing Consultant, Drug Information, Pharmacokinetics and Pharmacoeconomics or other specialized pharmacy areas.
Applicants MUST describe in detail their specialized clinical pharmacy experience.
**Applicants MUST attach a legible copy of their certificate confirming successful completion of a one-year pharmacy residency program with their application at the time of filing or within 15 calendar days of filing online.
Applications submitted without a certificate will be rejected as incomplete.In order to receive credit for any college course work, or any type of college degree, such as a Bachelor's, or Master's degree, or for completion of a residency program, you must include a legible copy of the official diploma, official transcripts or official letter from the accredited institution which shows the area of specialization; or official certificates with your application at the time of filing or within 15 calendar days of filing online.***All required licenses and certifications must be active and unrestricted or your application will not be accepted.

Additional Information EXAMINATION CONTENT:This examination will consist of an interview covering training, experience, personal fitness and general ability to perform the duties of the position, weighted 100%.ELIGIBILITY INFORMATION:Applications will be processed on an "as-received" basis and those receiving a passing score will be promulgated to the eligible register accordingly.The names of candidates receiving a passing score in the examination will be placed on the eligible register in the order of their score group for a period of twelve (12) months following the date of promulgation.No person may compete in this examination more than once every twelve (12) months.SPECIAL INFORMATION:Appointees may be required to work any shift, including evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays.AVAILABLE SHIFT:AnyVACANCY INFORMATION:The eligible register resulting from this examination will be used to fill vacancies throughout the Department of Health Services as they occur.
