Requirements
As a Clinical Dietitian, you will be tasked with the strategic development and oversight of a comprehensive nutrition care program tailored to the needs of the consumer population at Torrance State Hospital. Your clinical responsibilities will include conducting thorough nutritional assessments and creating individualized discharge plans to ensure continuity of care. You will be an integral member of the multidisciplinary treatment team, where you will provide expert dietary counseling, maintain meticulous medical records, and manage complex dietary charts to reflect consumer progress. In this role, you will provide a proactive approach to community health through the development of specialized nutrition education programs. Additionally, you will be responsible for the continuous clinical review and modification of therapeutic diets to optimize health outcomes and meet evolving medical requirements. Furthermore, you will serve as a liaison between the clinical and dietary departments by monitoring consumer menu acceptance and implementing data-driven adjustments to improve satisfaction and nutritional compliance.

Work Schedule and Additional Information:
- Full-time employment, 37.5 hours per week
- Work hours are 7:30 AM to 3:30 PM, Monday - Friday, with a 30-minute lunch. This may change based on operational needs.

Qualifications
QUALIFICATIONS
Special Requirement:
- You must possess certification as a Registered Dietitian as defined by the Commission on Registration of the American Dietetic Association; or proof of eligibility for such certification.

- A conditional offer of employment will require a medical examination.
