This job is for a clerk typist in Blair County's Children, Youth and Families Department, where you'll handle receptionist duties, prepare and organize documents, and manage confidential records while supporting families in need.
It's ideal for someone who is organized, professional, and good at working independently under deadlines without needing much supervision.
You'll interact with the public and colleagues daily in a full-time office role from 8 AM to 4 PM, Monday through Friday.

As a Clerk Typist 1, you will be responsible for accurately preparing, proofreading and maintaining correspondence, records, files and reports.
This position handles and processes confidential information with discretion.
Incumbents will function independently, have flexibility and work under pressure handling multiple projects and meeting deadlines.
You will maintain knowledge of office procedures and records administration.
This position provides the opportunity to demonstrate professionalism by maintaining effective interpersonal relationships with the public, coworkers, and others.
