Base salary range: $62,107 - $80,737
Typical requirements: 1 year specialized experience at GS-10. Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree, or 3 years graduate study.
Note: Actual salary includes locality pay (15-40%+ depending on location).
This job involves working as a structural civil engineer for the U.S. Navy in Washington state, where you'll design and plan fixes for buildings and equipment at shipyards and industrial sites.
You'll create drawings, estimates, and instructions to solve engineering challenges and guide teams on projects.

You will serve as a CIVIL ENGINEER (STRUCTURAL) in the Production Resources Department of PSNS and IMF.
In addition to the basic education requirement, your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector.
Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: one year as a professional Engineer developing detailed plans, specifications, and cost estimates to resolve structural engineering problems.
