Certified Nursing Assistant

Job Responsibilities:

  • Monitor and record crucial patient health data, including vital signs, height, weight, and fluid balance, promptly reporting any significant observations.
  • Ensure a safe and healthy environment by rigorously adhering to infection control protocols and emergency procedures.
  • Facilitate patient mobility and comfort through assistance with ambulation, repositioning, and range-of-motion exercises.
  • Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of patient areas, workspaces, and medical equipment, and support nursing staff in sterilization efforts.
  • Administer physician-ordered, self-administered medications, ensuring patients receive their necessary treatments.
  • Safeguard sensitive inmate information by strictly upholding confidentiality standards.
  • Approach change with a positive and adaptable mindset, contributing to a dynamic work environment.

Minimum/Required Qualifications:
  • Unrestricted Utah CNA Certificate.
  • Must be able to pass both a fingerprinting background check and drug screening.

Schedules:
  • We are currently hiring for either days or nights. Please note, your answer to the supplemental question regarding the schedule you would prefer may result in you being excluded from interviews.
  • Days: 6:00AM - 6:00PM
  • Nights: 6:00PM - 6:00AM
  • Each schedule will be scheduled for a total of 7 12-hour shifts per pay period with rotating weekends.

Additional Information

  • A conditional offer of employment will be made pending a satisfactory completion of a background check.
  • Must have current Certification of Nursing Assistant (CNA).Utah Administrative Rules R432-45
  • Requires considerable & strenuous physical exertion such as long periods of standing, walking, bending, crouching, reaching, recurring lifting. Must be able to life and carry over 50 pounds.
  • Risks found in potentially dangerous or unusual environmental stress situations, e.g. being subject to possible physical attack.
