Provide direct supervision of SOTMP staff: oversee training, job performance, establish and authorize work schedules, ensure staff comply with SOMB provider requirements and unlicensed staff obtain clinical supervision to qualify for Colorado licensure as a mental health provider;Ensure tasks are completed in accordance with State and Federal law, Department and Facility regulations, and professional standards and ethics;Oversee and ensure the development of procedures for the management of inmates with sexually offending behaviors;Provide administrative and clinical supervision to SOTMP therapists: ensure services provided follow program policies and Colorado Sex Offender Management Board Standards, ensure completion of sexually violent predator assessments on all inmates who meet criteria, coordinate the delivery of intensive sex offender treatment and schedule and assign staff to conduct therapy groups and tasks;Conduct group and individual therapy;Assure continuity of care for sex offenders: conduct and prepare evaluations and provide necessary information for case management, community corrections, parole board and other community agencies; Coordinate with administrative staff to provide sex offender administrative reviews, treatment services and training to facility staff;Ensure that mental health records are maintained in a confidential manner;Design and update program content and facilitate quality assurance reviews;Provide consultation to staff, other agencies, and boards outside DOC;Participate, as appropriate, in workshops for the family and community support system of sex offenders as well as follow-up contact with the support systems to review inmates relapse prevention plans and risk factors.**You are encouraged to print a copy of this announcement for your records** Qualifications ONLY APPLICANTS WHO MEET THE MINIMUM & SPECIAL QUALIFICATIONS WILL BE INCLUDED IN THE COMPARATIVE ANALYSIS PROCESS.

The agency shall consider any incidents of sexual harassment in determining whether to hire anyone who may have contact with inmates or residents.
Successful completion of a background investigation is required. Should applicant’s background reveal criminal charges, it shall be the responsibility of the applicant to provide the Department of Corrections with written/official disposition of any charges.
