About the position: This position is Non-appropriated Fund (NAF) and will be assigned to Gator Lakes Golf Course Oasis Cafe and is not guaranteed a set number of hours but can be scheduled 0 - 40 hours per week.
As a federal employee you will have access to all Hurlburt Field FSS facilities.

Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student; social).
You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience.
Your resume must clearly describe your relevant experience; if the position allows for qualifying based on education, your transcripts will be required as part of your application.
Qualifying Experience: Must have experience in responsible clerical or office work which includes demonstrated ability to perform common arithmetic problems, and making change when receiving payments from customers.
Must also have experience in the receipt, disbursement, examination, deposit or other processing of cash items when this includes (1) direct handling of cash items, and (2) use of cash accountability control methods.
Knowledge of rules and etiquette of golf is desirable but not required. Must be able to lift and carry objects weighing up to 40 pounds.
Must be able to satisfactorily complete a pre-employment physical. Must have ability to communicate both orally and in writing. Must possess skill in dealing with the public.
Must be at least 18 years of age. Must be able to read, write and speak English. Must be able to work days, nights, weekends and holidays.
Must be able to satisfactorily complete a Tier 1 background investigation with favorable results. You will be evaluated on the basis of your level of competency in the following areas: Major Duties:
Sells a variety of merchandise items such as breakfast and lunch menu items, snacks, candy, soft drinks, prepackaged sandwiches, and alcoholic beverages.
Operates cash register, rings up the sale, receives money and makes change, processes credit card sale.
At the end of each tour of duty clears the cash register, and turns over cash and supporting documents as instructed. Conducts daily inventories.
Maintains work area in clean and orderly condition; vacuums and sweeps floors as needed; washes dishes and takes out trash.
Also operates beverage cart on the course selling snacks, prepackaged sandwiches, soft drinks and alcoholic beverages. Retrieves and loads stock on to cart at beginning of shift.
Accepts cash payment and makes change without the use of a cash register; completes appropriate paperwork to account for monies received/returned.
Reconciles cash and inventory and returns unsold inventory to stock at end of shift. Cleans beverage cart; reports mechanical problems to the supervisor.
May explain course safety rules and regulations to patrons. Performs other related duties as assigned.
