This job is for a cashier at an outdoor recreation facility on a military base in North Carolina, where you'll sell snacks, drinks, and other small items, handle cash transactions, check pool passes, and keep the area clean.
It's a flexible part-time role with hours varying from 0 to 40 per week, ending no later than September 2026.
It's a good fit for someone friendly and reliable who enjoys customer-facing work and has basic retail or office experience.
About the position: This position will be assigned to Outdoor Recreation at Seymour Johnson AFB.
This is a Flexible position, hours range from 0-40 hours per week depending on the needs of the facility. Not to exceed 9/30/2026.
Must have skills in dealing with the public and the ability to communicate orally. Who May Apply: Open to everyone.

You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience.
Your resume must clearly describe your relevant experience; if the position allows for qualifying based on education, your transcripts will be required as part of your application.
Qualifying Experience: Must have experience in clerical, office, or retail sales work of any kind. Experience in the operation of a cash register is desirable.
Skill in dealing with the public and the ability to communicate orally. You will be evaluated on the basis of your level of competency in the following areas: Major Duties:
Sells a variety of items and/or short order items, i.e snacks, food, soft drinks, candy ect. Operates cash register, rings up the sale, receives money and makes change, or charges to members account.
A the end of each tour of duty, clears the cash register and turns over cash and supporting documents to supervisor. Checks guest for pool passes and records swimmer load. Conducts daily inventories.
Maintains area in a clean and orderly condition. Performs other related duties as assigned.
