This job is for a cashier at a bowling alley on Beale Air Force Base in California, where you'll take food and drink orders, handle payments in cash, check, or credit card, and keep the area clean.
It's a flexible part-time role with no guaranteed hours or benefits, open to everyone but prioritizing military spouses, veterans, and others with preferences.
A good fit would be someone reliable with basic math skills and customer service experience, like from retail or volunteer work.
About the position: This position is Non-appropriated Fund (NAF) and will be assigned to the Beale Lanes, Beale AFB.
You will be scheduled to work anywhere from 0-40 hours per week; hours are not guaranteed. This position does not receive benefits. Who May Apply: Open to everyone.

Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student; social).
You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience.
Your resume must clearly describe your relevant experience; if the position allows for qualifying based on education, your transcripts will be required as part of your application.
Qualifying Experience: Experience in responsible clerical or office work which includes demonstrated ability to perform common arithmetic problems, and making change when receiving payments from customers.
Experience in the receipt, disbursement, examination, deposit or other processing of cash items when this includes (1) direct handling of cash items, and (2) use of cash accountability control methods.
Major Duties:
Informs guests of menu specials. May be required to receive and submit initial patron drink orders. Takes food orders, totals up the sale, and accepts payment, providing change as necessary.
Payment may be made in the form of cash, check, or credit card.
At the end of each tour of duty, the incumbent clears the cash register, completes all supporting documentation and submits to supervisor. Elevates problems to supervisor for resolution.
Maintains hostess station and register in clean and orderly condition.
