This job involves supporting canteen operations in a correctional facility by auditing inventories, ensuring compliance with rules, and training managers on proper procedures.
You'll help with warehouse tasks, vending services, and keeping everything clean and secure.
It's a good fit for someone organized with experience in business or store management who wants to work in a government setting.
Under limited supervision from the canteen branch chief, provide administrative and program support to institutional canteen managers, warehouse operations & vending services.
Provide assistance to canteen managers by auditing & inspection of institutional canteens to ensure compliance with policies/procedures.

Ensure cleanliness, proper stock rotation procedures, unauthorized stock and security.
Verify accuracy of inventories & create appropriate adjustments.
Create & distribute audit results.
Conduct comprehensive training program for managers.
Provide support in the absence of & to vending services.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Participate in quarterly/annual inventories.
Must successfully complete four (4) weeks of SCDC Basic Training upon hire.

A high school diploma and relevant experience in business management, public administration, or administrative services or a bachelor's degree may be substituted for the required work experience.
