County of Santa Barbara Health is accepting applications for a CalAIM Administrator within the Primary Care and Family Health (PCFH) division.
This role will report to South County, and open to a hybrid work schedule. County classification title is Health Services Manager III.
This position is "At-Will" and exempt from Civil Service provisions.
Under direction of the Deputy of Clinical Care, the incumbent will be responsible for leading the CalAIM program for the County Health department; coordinates assigned activities with staff in other divisions and departments; provides highly responsible and complex staff assistance and administrative support to executive management staff; and performs other duties as assigned.
The California Advancing and Innovating Medi-Cal (CalAIM) initiative is transforming the Medi-Cal delivery system to improve quality of life and health outcomes for beneficiaries.
The CalAIM Administrator will oversee all CalAIM initiatives, including Enhanced Care Management (ECM) and the Justice-Involved Initiative.
This role provides leadership for the CalAIM Implementation Plan, ensuring effective project management of internal and state-required activities, adherence to timelines, and successful delivery of program milestones.
The CalAIM Administrator will lead a team of health service managers and coordinators, fostering cross-departmental collaboration and alignment with other CalAIM teams.

IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL POSSESS:
DISTINGUISHING CHARACTERISTICS: This is the third manager level in the Health Services Management job family and oversees a division, function, or multiple programs within a department.
Incumbents oversee highly complex and strategic health services administrative functions and have responsibility for significant budget/funding levels.
Decision-making includes establishing work unit objectives and goals, exercising considerable discretion in selecting the method to address a problem or issue, and fostering collaboration among and between the work units supervised as well as work units under the direction of others.
Positions have significant impact on the specific work units or divisions, which may have department-wide effects.
SUPERVISION RECEIVED AND EXERCISED: Reports to an executive. Oversees the work of a team (two or more individuals) or teams of individual contributors through subordinate managers. Exercises direct and indirect supervision over assigned management, professional, technical, and administrative staff.
