This job involves living at a summer camp in South Carolina to supervise and care for up to eight children with physical disabilities or chronic illnesses, helping them with daily tasks like eating and bathing while ensuring their safety and participation in fun activities.
It's a hands-on role that requires living on-site during camp sessions with some days off in between.
A good fit would be someone patient, energetic, and passionate about supporting kids in an outdoor setting, ideally with experience working with children or people with disabilities.

Job Roles and Responsibilities:
This position is responsible for the supervision and daily care for up to eight campers with physical disabilities and/or chronic illnesses. This includes but not limited to.

State Minimum Requirements:
Requirements to qualify for this position are:
Normal Work Schedule: This position is located at Camp Burnt Gin in Sumter County and is a residential position. Because it is residential camp staff are required to live at camp while in session.
Staff have scheduled days off in between the sessions. Workdays vary according to the summer schedule. (See schedule posted on the Camp Burnt Gin webpage).
