Full Job Description

You will serve as a BUSINESS MANAGEMENT DIRECTOR in the CORPORATE OPERATIONS DEPARTMENT of SOUTHWEST REGIONAL MAINTENANCE CENTER.

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-13 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector.

Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Planning and implementing direct support Business Management services (e.g., developing long and short range plans, Civilian and Military Manpower/Manning, Security, Business Operations, Information Technology, Enterprise Resource Planning, or Contracting Officer Representative) to improve the execution of a commands continuous improvement program.

  • You will serves as the senior advisor and consultant to the Commanding Officer, Executive Officer, and Executive Director on all business issues related to assigned military and civilian personnel, capability planning and workload requirements.
  • You will serve as the alter ego to the Corporate Operations Department Head in all business matters relating to the management, direction, workload, forecasting, and overall direction of the Division.
  • You will have full delegated authority to represent the Business Management Division in decision making conferences and negotiations with higher echelon officials with respect to external operations.
  • You will share the responsibility and authority of the Department Head in managing the overall planning, coordination, direction, implementation and timely execution of direct support Business Management services to the command.
  • You will plan, organize, and direct business management analytical studies for various program areas such as financial, manpower utilization and data/system management, ensuring continuing improvements in efficient and effective execution/operation.
  • You will plan and analyze program objectives in order to develop, establish and implement a command wide effective process improvement program.
  • You will develop, implement, and ensure a long range productivity support structure exists in the future.
