The Pennsylvania Treasury Department is seeking a skilled and motivated Building Services Supervisor to support the Bureau of Support Services to ensure the dependable delivery of essential building services across Treasury-occupied facilities. Requirements
In this role, the Building Services Supervisor oversees minor maintenance, custodial work, and overall building services to ensure compliance with safety and maintenance standards. The Building Services Supervisor directs General Facilities Services Assistants by managing minor repairs, daily work activities, task lists, schedules, office moves, and long-term maintenance planning, and also handles ad hoc service requests by assigning tasks, monitoring quality, and ensuring requestor satisfaction. The position coordinates contractor provided building services, develops and implements maintenance and safety policies, participates on committees, and ensures adherence to federal, state, and local regulations. The position ensures safe work practices, staffing needs, and oversees vendor performance.
Work Schedule and Additional Information:
- Full-time employment
- Work hours are 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, Monday - Friday, with 60-minute lunch.

Qualifications
QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:
- One year as a General Facilities Services Assistant III; or
- Four years of experience in performing minor maintenance and building services activities within a large office building or facility; or
- An equivalent combination of experience and training.
Special Requirements:
- Ability to lift up to 100 pounds
- Ability to push and pull up to 300 pounds
Condition of Employment:
- You must have a valid Pennsylvania driver's license.
Additional Requirements:
- You must have experience using Microsoft computer applications such as Word, Excel, and Outlook and the ability to learn other software applications necessary to complete job duties.
- You must have experience prioritizing tasks, managing multiple responsibilities, and meeting deadlines effectively and in assigned timeframes.

Preferred Qualifications (not required):
- Experience with a facility work order system and related software
- Supervisory experience in facility services with responsibility for overseeing maintenance activities and staff
- Hands-on experience performing minor maintenance and building services tasks; working knowledge of painting, plumbing, carpentry, electrical work, HVAC, and project coordination
- Experience with office and facility furniture setup or reorganization and a strong understanding of the proper use of tools, including power tools
