Base salary range: $147,649 - $221,900

Job Purpose:
Technical College of the Lowcountry is recruiting Adjunct instructors to teach Building Construction classes for the upcoming academic year.
Job Functions:
Teaching Responsibilities
1. Instruction including hands-on and theory, classroom management, and administrative tasks that may include reports, syllabus and lesson plan development
2. Assess the accomplishment of students on a regular basis
3. Maintain records of student attendance, grades, and progress
Instructional Development
1. Recommend for approval adequate instructional materials for the course
2. Work with other areas of the college such as Tutoring, Retention, etc. to help ensure student success
3. Prepare reports in cooperation with Division Dean for input in the planning/reporting system and/or for submission to the accrediting body of the College or program
Professional Development
1. Attend relevant professional meetings
2. Represent the College positively in interactions with the community and with professional and academic groups at the local, state, and national levels
A minimum of five years' working as a residential superintendent or project manager with experience in any aspect of the residential construction field to include construction management, framing, plumbing, and electrical.
Teaching experience and a SC Residential Builder's License are preferred.
