Full Job Description
Cleans offices, rooms, hallways, lobbies, rest rooms, elevators and stairways. Sweeps, mops, scrubs, waxes and polishes floors. Disposes of trash and waste. Performs cleaning services for 31 plus facilities to include, but not limited to 65,000 plus square feet of floor tile, 58,000 plus square feet of carpet and over 7,600 square feet of ceramic tile. Will be responsible for the cleaning of over 60 latrines, 100 toilets, 50 urinals and 30 showers. Knowledge of how to properly carry out custodial and housekeeping tasks. Skilled in the use of cleaning hand tools.
Requirements
Experience in custodial, housekeeping or pest control work that is directly related to the area of employment. Applicant must be able to pass a background check for access to base. Applicant must possess and maintain a valid South Carolina driver's license.
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent and any combination of experience or training that would enable an applicant to acquire the necessary knowledge, skills and abilities. Must be able to continually lift 35 pounds throughout the day.
