In this position, you will take on the critical task of developing bid proposals that comply with the established standards and specifications set forth by the Department for various construction projects.
This will involve a thorough review of project plans and associated data, as well as the preparation of detailed cost estimates and special provisions tailored to each project.
You will be responsible for conducting meticulous plan checks to ensure the accuracy and completeness of all submitted documents.
Additionally, you will prepare the necessary documentation for submission to the Central Office, engage in discussions regarding proposals with Central Office representatives, and participate in pre-bid conferences as required.
Your attention to detail and adherence to departmental guidelines will be essential in facilitating successful project bids.

Work Schedule and Additional Information:
Telework: You may have the opportunity to work from home (telework) part-time upon successful completion of probationary period.
In order to telework, you must have a securely configured high-speed internet connection and work from an approved location inside Pennsylvania.
If you are unable to telework, you will have the option to report to the headquarters office in Montoursville. The ability to telework is subject to change at any time.
