This job is for a bar assistant at a remote U.S.
Space Force base in Greenland, where you'll help set up and maintain the bar by handling supplies, preparing ingredients, cleaning equipment, and serving basic drinks while dealing with customers.
It involves physically demanding work with irregular hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays, in a challenging overseas location.
A good fit would be someone with bartending experience who is reliable, physically fit, and comfortable living and working in an isolated military environment.
About the position: This position is located at Pituffik Space Base in Greenland. Position requires working irregular schedules, to include weekends, holidays, and all shifts.
This is a crafts and trades position. Must be able to frequently lift objects weighing up to 40 pounds.
Must be able to continuously stand and walk and frequently stoop, reach, push, pull, and bend for long periods of time. Flexible Position. Who May Apply: Open to everyone.

Duties and Responsibilities: Carries supplies and equipment, such as liquors, fruits, ice, glasses, linens and silverware from storage areas to the bar. Slices and peels fruit.
Fills ice bins and crushes ice. Washes and cleans bar glasses, bar equipment and keeps the work area clean and neat.
Replaces empty beer kegs with full kegs with the aid of a dolly; stocks beer coolers. Wipes down the interior and exterior surfaces of coolers. Helps in setting up service bars and portable bars.
Carries debris to waste containers. May serve bottle beer, soft drinks and draw beer from kegs. Performs Other duties as assigned.
