Job Description
Summary
This temporary role involves assisting a lead teacher in a childcare program on the Auraria Campus in Denver, helping with daily activities, guiding young children's development, and keeping the classroom positive and organized.
It's ideal for someone who enjoys working with kids, has basic early childhood education training, and can collaborate well in a team setting.
The position supports students and staff at local universities by providing childcare services.
Key Requirements
- Must be ECT Qualified or hold a Level 2 PDIS Certificate
- Must be certified as an Assistant Early Childhood Teacher per Colorado Department of Human Services standards
- Experience or training in early childhood education
- Ability to assist in planning and organizing classroom activities
- Strong teamwork and communication skills with colleagues and parents
- Capability to maintain records and guide children's behavior positively
