This is a Non-Classified position, performing the outlined duties with the Auraria Higher Education Center.
This position is eligible for hybrid work after an initial training period and based on business needs/operations. Hybrid work schedule may include up to 2 days remote and will include at least 3 days in office.

| Job Summary: | Auraria Campus is seeking an HR Junior Business Partner (a Non-Classified position) to support and advance key employee experience initiatives.
This role plays an integral part in enhancing HR processes, strengthening employee development efforts, and optimizing HR systems.
The Junior HR Business Partner will ensure data integrity, streamline HR operations, and design innovative learning programs that promote continuous growth across the organization. |
| Essential Job Functions:
| Learning & Development (30%) - Assist in designing and implementing learning programs that support employee growth and organizational capability.
- Coordinate logistics for training sessions, workshops, and development initiatives.
- Track participation, evaluate program effectiveness, and recommend improvements.
- Support the creation of digital learning content and resources.
HR Systems & Data Integrity (30%) - Oversee day-to-day administration of HR systems and tools.
- Ensure accuracy, consistency, and confidentiality of employee data across all platforms.
- Generate and analyze HR reports to support decision-making and identify trends.
- Collaborate with IT and HR leadership to troubleshoot system issues and recommend enhancements.
Employee Experience & Engagement (20%) - Support the development and implementation of employee experience initiatives that strengthen workplace culture.
- Assist in designing and delivering engagement activities, recognition programs, and feedback mechanisms.
- Monitor employee sentiment trends and escalate themes or concerns to senior HR leadership.
- Partner with teams to ensure consistent and positive onboarding and offboarding experiences.
Administrative Support: (20%) - Provide frontline HR guidance to employees and supervisors on routine HR matters
- Perform accurate and timely data entry across HR systems, ensuring employee records are current and complete.
- Support the creation and maintenance of digital personnel files in accordance with organizational standards and confidentiality requirements.
- Participate in routine data and payroll audits to identify discrepancies, correct errors, and uphold data integrity.
- Support the preparation, organization, and tracking of HR documents, forms, and workflows.
- Assist with generating standard HR reports and summaries for internal stakeholders.
- Respond to routine employee inquiries and direct more complex questions to appropriate HR team members.
- Assist with updates to organizational charts, employee rosters, and HR databases.
- Support the Director with additional projects and assignments as requested.

Qualifications
| Minimum Qualifications:
| - Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Organizational Development, or related field.
- 3 years of full-time professional work experience in a human resources role.
Substitution: - Additional relevant experience may substitute for the required education on a year-for-year basis.

| Conditions of Employment: | - Must be able to successfully pass a criminal background check.
- Must be able to work on-site 3-5 days/week, between the hours of 8am-5pm.
- Must be able to maintain confidentiality and professionalism.
- Must be able to operate standard office equipment such as computers, phones, copy machines, virtual meeting tools, and digital filing systems.

| Preferred Qualifications: | - At least 1 year acting as the HRIS back-end administrator (including overseeing implementation, maintenance, and/or acting as the backend administrator).
- Experience in creating employee focused learning programs through multiple modalities for different learner styles.
- Experience in HR data management, compliance, reporting standards.
- Experience in upgrades, and process improvements.
