Base salary range: $88,520 - $115,079

Note: Actual salary includes locality pay (15-40%+ depending on location).
This job involves creating videos, photos, and other visual content to communicate Navy information to the public, media, and internal teams, including planning projects from script to final distribution.

You will serve as a AUDIOVISUAL PRODUCTION SPECIALIST in the Office of Strategic Communications (OSC) of NCIS. All Naval Criminal Investigative Service (NCIS) positions are in the excepted service.

GS-13 Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector.
Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: mastering of the principles, practices, methods, and techniques of audiovisual communication to effectively communicate information through the creation, scripting, directing, filming, editing, and finalizing of audiovisual products for a range of uses, including entertainment, public education, and training and development; and Engaging professionally with broadcast media representatives and public affairs professionals and working with websites and social media.
