| Position Summary: | University Information Services (UIS) provides technical services and enterprise applications to the University of Colorado’s (CU) four campuses and the Office of the President. UIS is committed to excellence in customer service, technical expertise, and the development of enterprise applications responsible for supporting CU’s students, faculty, staff, and others. The Assistant Director of HR IT Services serves as the PeopleSoft HR Systems Product Owner and is responsible for maximizing the value, performance, and stability of the organization’s PeopleSoft Human Capital Management system. This role owns the functional vision and roadmap for PeopleSoft HCM and its connected applications, ensuring alignment with HR strategy, operational requirements, and enterprise technology standards. This position collaborates with Campus Stakeholder groups, Chief Human Resource Officers, Employee Services Leadership and Staff, and other module Application Managers to align institutional business requirements with functional capabilities within the HCM system. The Assistant Director will have responsibility for projects, functions, and processes within PeopleSoft HCM. This position may recommend strategy and provide professional support to the Director of HR IT Services and may have the authority to act on the Director's behalf. A key contributing value of this role is to help resolve unforeseen obstacles and issues involving people and technology. This position reports to the Director of HR IT Services and is exempt from the State of Colorado Classified Staff system. |
