This job is for an assistant attorney general who prosecutes a wide range of criminal cases, from drug offenses to serious crimes like murder and human trafficking, working closely with law enforcement and courts across South Carolina.
It involves evaluating cases, managing them through the legal system, and seeking fair outcomes, with opportunities to build courtroom skills and contribute to important laws.
A good fit would be a licensed lawyer with criminal court experience who is organized, independent, and skilled in communicating effectively in writing and speech.

Prosecutors get to travel throughout the state and handle a variety of cases; everything from drug cases to murders, hit and runs to human trafficking.
You’ll have the opportunity to work with various law enforcement agencies, different defense bars, and appear before judges across the state.

Performs under limited supervision legal work for the State, its subdivisions, and officials.
