This job is for an ASL Teacher at the Iowa School for the Deaf, where you'll teach deaf and hard-of-hearing students from preschool to age 21 using American Sign Language and English in a bilingual classroom setup.
You'll create lesson plans, track student progress through individualized education programs, and communicate with parents to help students become confident, literate members of society.

Primary Function
ISD’s Teachers of the Deaf provide services in support of Iowa School for the Deaf’s mission which is to prepare deaf and hard of hearing students from pre-school to age 21 for life as literate citizens who contribute to society.
