This job is for a supervisor in the Wisconsin Army National Guard who oversees a team of workers repairing and maintaining artillery equipment and related armament systems.

This National Guard position is for a ARMAMENT WORKER SUPERVISOR - Title 32, Position Description Number D0724000 and is part of the WI CSMS, Wisconsin Army National Guard.
*At management's discretion, this Temporary Promotion may be made permanent without further competition in accordance with 5CFR 335.103(c)(1)(i) GENERAL EXPERIENCE: Experience or training which demonstrates that the candidate has the ability to organize assignments for subordinates, estimate material and manpower needed for specific jobs; able to explain manuals and work procedures; and to prepare production records, work records and reports.
SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE: To qualify for the WS-6601-09 level, in addition to the journeyman level knowledge, you must have at least 36 months of experience which demonstrates the ability to plan, direct, and organize work assignments for lower grade personnel.
Experience which required the review of work requirements and establish priorities to meet deadlines. Experience that provided knowledge of various lines of work performed by this function.
Experience which demonstrates the ability to supervise or the potential to perform such duties as evidenced by the ability to communicate knowledge of general supervisory concepts, and knowledge of shop processes.
Experience in adapting existing equipment and techniques to new situations. Major Duties:
As a ARMAMENT WORKER SUPERVISOR - Title 32, WS-6601-9, you will supervise workers, either directly or through one or more subordinate leaders and/or supervisors, in accomplishing the operations of a distinct organizational unit and to perform associated nonsupervisory work.
The work involves two or more dissimilar or unrelated occupations.
The occupation and nonsupervisory grade level which best reflects the nature of the overall work operations supervised is Artillery Repairer, WG-6605-09.
