Full Job Description

Under limited supervision, assists with the work management functions and a comprehensive planned and corrective maintenance program relating to facility maintenance and area support of the University of South Carolina Columbia campus comprised of approximately 165 buildings and 12 million gross square feet of facility space including work that requires on demand maintenance services, planned maintenance support, regular building inspections, and multi-member crews.

Requirements

  • Requires a bachelor’s degree in a job related field and 5 or more years of job related experience, which may be substituted by an equivalent combination of job related certification, training, education, and/or experience.

Additional Information

Strong organizational skills and the ability to plan and prioritize work, multi-task in the management of multiple priorities solve problems and take corrective actions, build a team and inspire others to accomplish objectives, measure performance and improve deficiencies, work within established resources.
