This job is for an Aquatics Manager at a U.S.
Army pool facility in Okinawa, Japan, where you'll oversee swimming programs, ensure safety, and manage staff and budgets to keep things running smoothly and fun for everyone.
It's ideal for someone with hands-on experience running pools or water activities, who is organized, good with people, and certified in lifeguarding and first aid.
Note that medical and dental care is very limited in Japan, so it's best for those comfortable with overseas living.

A qualified candidate must possess the following: Demonstrated experience in planning, organizing, coordinating, supervising, administering and executing aquatic programs.
This experience may have been gained managing indoor or outdoor recreational or competitive aquatic programs and facilities.
Possession of the following certificates is a requirement: Current lifeguard certification Current First Aid and CPR/AED for the Professional Rescuer or equivalent Current Aquatic Facilities Operator (AFO) or Pool Operator certification Current Certification in Water Safety Instructor O2 Administration In addition to the above qualifications, candidates who possess the following qualifications will be considered "Highly Preferred" or "Best Qualified": Lifeguard Instructor certification English/Japanese bilingual Qualifications must be clearly verifiable in your resume.
Government positions must include pay plan, series, grade, to and from dates, and government agency/department.
