This job involves using horses and mules to transport supplies, equipment, and materials to remote backcountry areas in a national forest, while also caring for the animals and handling emergencies.

This position is located within a National Forest. The incumbent is responsible for packing supplies and equipment to backcountry locations by horse or mule.
