This job involves maintaining and repairing general aviation aircraft, including inspecting frames, systems, and components to ensure they are safe and functional.
The role requires hands-on work like troubleshooting issues, replacing parts, and using tools to test aircraft performance with minimal oversight.
It's a good fit for experienced mechanics who enjoy working independently on planes at a military base and have a strong background in aircraft systems.
This position is located at Redstone Arsenal, Alabama. Incentives and Bonuses Incentives will not be paid. Resumes must be two pages (or less).

A qualified candidate must possess the following: Must have experience that demonstrates the ability to perform maintenance on a variety of General Aviation aircraft with little to no supervision.
In addition to knowledge of a wide variety of parts, components, and less complex assemblies, must possess knowledge of the makeup, operation, installation, and adjustment of a wide array of aircraft systems and assemblies such as fuel and hydraulic systems, flight control systems, instrumentation systems, engine(s), landing gear assemblies, airframe, and control surfaces.
Must possess skills and abilities to function test and/or troubleshoot aircraft systems; determine when they are operation properly or whether portions of the system must be repaired or replaced; and the type and extent of adjustment and alignment needed.
Must be able to successfully use appropriate tools and test equipment to maintain and test aircraft operability.
Must have skill in reading and understanding data and settings from the cockpit instruments and gauges. Experience MUST be clearly reflected on your Resume at the time of application to be considered.
