This job opportunity is for an AIRCRAFT FLIGHT INSTRUCTOR, position description D0610000, within the AASF-1 of the New Jersey National Guard.

This vacancy announcement is a Title 32, Excepted Service position.

General Experience: Must have the following General Experience(s); Understanding of the occupation's basic principles and concepts One year on-the-job experience in the grade (or a comparable military rank) Mandatory Qualification Requirements: A Federal Aviation Administration pilot certificates or appropriate military certifications Military ratings in the main-frame military aircraft of employment Specialized Experience: Must have 36 months of experience in the following; Piloting and instructing pilot skills in one or more of the following main-frame/military aircraft; Fixed-wing Rotary Remotely piloted aircraft Training and instructing others in the piloting of a specified main-frame military aircraft Supervising and/or conducting mission planning, mission preparations, filing of flight plans, and conducting crew briefings Traditional "stick and rudder" type controls for piloting aircraft direction, altitude, and speed Planning, scheduling, and conducting training flights through Federal Aviation Administration controlled national airspace Conducting particular missions and flying specific main-frame aircraft in combat tactics Flying in mountainous terrain Performing tactical remote site evaluations Performing landings on remote sites Provide ground and flight training Conducting night-vision operations or instructions Must have two (2) years of experience in one of the following programs: Civilian aviation program Military service aviation program (active duty or reserve components) Army National Guard Aviation Support facility Air National Guard Wing/ Operations Group Required Flight Hours: 500 hours total military fixed wing flying time Major Duties:
