The Screen-out Element for this position is: I have the ability to perform common tasks including: 1) Determining the methods of repair to use on aircraft engines, the degree of disassembly needed, and the serviceability of parts or reworks required before assembly; 2) Repairing and reworking engine parts and components and replacing accessories such as portions of electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems; 3) Using engine analysis software to evaluate engine performance and parameters.

I work under close supervision of a work leader or journey-level employee who observes tasks in progress and upon completion to make sure they are properly performed.

  • You will replace portions of electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.
