This job involves managing the repair, overhaul, and deactivation of nuclear-powered aircraft carriers for the U.S. Navy, ensuring projects stay on time, within budget, and meet all standards.
You'll lead teams, handle massive funding, and coordinate with contractors to avoid delays and resolve issues.
It's ideal for someone with strong project management experience in large-scale shipbuilding or military operations who thrives in high-stakes, technical environments.
You will serve as a Aircraft Carrier Repair/Inactivation Manager in the Waterfront Operations Department of SUPSHIP.
Your resume must demonstrate one year of specialized experience equivalent to next lower grade level/pay band NH-03 (GS-13) in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector reviewing Government contractual and certification requirements associated with the construction, overhaul, and/or inactivation of nuclear aircraft carriers.
