Base salary range: $74,441 - $96,770
Typical requirements: 1 year specialized experience at GS-11. Advanced degree + significant experience.
Note: Actual salary includes locality pay (15-40%+ depending on location).
This job involves managing operations at a naval air terminal, including handling passenger and cargo transportation, coordinating with various teams, and preparing reports to ensure smooth and compliant activities.
A good fit would be someone with experience in logistics or transportation management, strong decision-making skills under pressure, and the ability to lead a small team in a military or high-stakes environment.
You will serve as a AIR TERMINAL OPERATIONS MANAGER in the Passenger Terminal & Cargo Handling of NAVAL AIR TERMINAL.
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector.
Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Analyzing transportation requirements and converting them to solicitations for services; 2) Evaluating IT system adaptation to functional transportation program requirements with a limited staff; 3) Analyzing and making decisions under emergency conditions for the transportation of fleet material to meet critical needs; 4) Gathering, preparing, and presenting reports for all air terminal administration and operational requirements.
