Full Job Description
Public Health Seattle & King County’s Community Health Services (CHS) division is looking for a skilled, motivated, and enthusiastic Nurse Practitioner to join float pool team. This position will serve patients at the Sexual and Reproductive Health clinics and School based health clinics. In this role, the Nurse Practitioner works with a multi-disciplinary health care team to provide care and treatment in an ambulatory clinic setting. In Sexual and Reproductive Health (SRH) clinics, this position involves the provision of Family Planning and Sexually Transmitted Disease (STD) care, including PrEP. In School Based Health clinics, this position provides comprehensive scope of services including asthma care, immunizations, and family planning. In addition to addressing health care concerns. ARNPs work in the ambulatory care setting integrating knowledge and data from many scientific frameworks to provide care to individuals on an independent basis. The ARNPs body of work is distinguished from other nursing classifications in that they are responsible for medical management of health conditions including prescribing and dispensing medications. This would be an excellent position for an ARNP who has an interest in working with teens and patients from diverse backgrounds.
