Job Description

Summary

This role involves overseeing mental health and recovery services for adults in Stanislaus County, managing teams and programs to support individuals with behavioral health needs.

It requires leading initiatives that improve care delivery and ensure compliance with regulations.

A good fit would be someone with experience in healthcare management, a passion for public service, and strong leadership skills in community-based settings.

Key Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in social work, psychology, public administration, or a related field (Master's preferred)
  • At least 5 years of professional experience in behavioral health or human services, including supervisory roles
  • Knowledge of adult mental health systems, recovery models, and relevant state/federal regulations
  • Strong leadership and team management abilities
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for stakeholder collaboration
  • Experience with program development, budgeting, and quality assurance in healthcare
  • Valid California driver's license and ability to travel within the county
