Job Description

Summary

This job involves working as a social worker to support vulnerable adults through programs like protective services, community placements, and help with independent living.

You'll assess needs, connect people to resources, and ensure their safety and well-being in the Michigan Department of Health and Human Services.

Full Job Description

Position functions as a professional social worker caseworker providing services to vulnerable individuals. Responsibilities may involve one or more of the following programs administered by MDHHS: Adult Protective Services, Adult community placement and independent living services.

The physical location of this position is 1050 Independence Blvd, Charlotte MI 48813. Based on operational needs and within established limits, remote work and alternate or hybrid work schedule requests for this position may be considered.

Selected candidates who have been approved to work remotely or a hybrid schedule must complete that work within Michigan. Candidates should confirm work location and schedule at the time of interview.
