Job Description

Summary

This job is for an experienced accountant at Hawaii State Hospital, where you'll handle professional accounting tasks like analyzing financial data and maintaining parts of the accounting system on your own.

The State of Hawaii requires all persons seeking employment with the government of the State shall be citizens, nationals, or permanent resident aliens of the United States, or eligible under federal law for unrestricted employment in the United States.

To qualify, you must meet all of the following requirements:

Basic Education: A bachelor's degree from a regionally accredited four-year college or university with at least 12 semester credit hours in accounting and/or auditing subjects.

Accounting Experience: One and one-half years of progressively responsible professional accounting or auditing experience which may have included teaching accounting at the university level.
