You will serve as a ACCOUNTANT in the NAWCAD General Equipment Management (GEM) Team, supporting the Comptroller Department of NAVAIRWARCENAC DIV.
In addition to the Basic Requirements for this position, your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-9/10 grade level or pay band DA-03 in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector.
Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Researching and interpreting regulations to answer questions from management or auditors.
2) Analyzing accounting records to assess accuracy, completeness, and conformance to reporting standards and regulatory guidance.
3) Identifying, diagnosing, and resolving complex accounting and/or financial system issues.
4) Proficiency with financial management software including Navy Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP), Microsoft Office Suite, and Procurement Integrated Enterprise Environment (PIEE).
