You will serve as an Accountant in the Financial Management Division of NAVAL FACILITIES ENG COMMAND ATLANTIC.
In addition to the Basic Requirements for this position, your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector.
Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Utilizing integrated financial management systems and sub-systems to extract data, identify and resolve system problems, and maintain data integrity; 2) Evaluating to identify the causes of problems, and chooses courses of action that balance the interests of the mission and stakeholders; 3) Applying fiscal law, policies, regulations, principles, standards, and procedures to financial management activities; 4) Preparing, reviewing and reconciling financial statements and financial reports to meet reporting requirements and to support management decisions; AND 5) Analyzing, evaluating and reviewing accounting data and reports using business tools and applications, and performance metrics to provide recommendations.
