The Cambria County Behavioral Health and Developmental Supports Program is seeking an Accountant 1 to join our team.

In this entry-level fiscal position, you will analyze financial transactions and prepare supporting documentation, financial statements, and reports to accurately track funds and evaluate financial trends and projections.
Your duties will include assisting with the preparation of county budget data by compiling operating and contracted provider expense information for entry into the accounting system’s budget module.
Utilizing both automated and manual accounting tools, you will monitor expenditures, support financial reporting, and maintain precise records.
You will also prepare vouchers and spreadsheets, contribute to the establishment and maintenance of financial controls, and recommend or implement updates to accounting methods and procedures to ensure accuracy, compliance, and efficiency.
