Job Description
Summary
This internship offers college students a summer opportunity in 2027 to work on counterintelligence efforts within the Defense Intelligence Agency in the Washington, D.C. area.
Interns will support national security missions by assisting with intelligence operations, analysis, and teamwork in a high-stakes environment.
It's ideal for motivated students pursuing degrees in fields like international relations, cybersecurity, or political science who are passionate about defense and government service.
Key Requirements
- Current enrollment in a college or university program (undergraduate or graduate level)
- U.S. citizenship and ability to obtain a security clearance
- Strong written and oral communication skills for assessments
- Knowledge or experience in intelligence, counterintelligence, or national security
- Demonstrated teamwork, integrity, and commitment to ethical principles
- Ability to address mandatory assessment factors related to the role
- Availability for summer 2027 in the National Capital Region
