Job Description

Summary

This internship offers college students a summer opportunity in 2027 to gain hands-on experience in security roles within the Defense Intelligence Agency, focusing on national defense and intelligence operations in the Washington, D.C.

area. It involves supporting team efforts to protect the nation through various professional tasks in the security field.

Ideal candidates are motivated undergraduates interested in government service, with strong ethics and a passion for teamwork and mission-driven work.

Key Requirements

  • Current enrollment in an undergraduate or graduate program (eligible for summer 2027)
  • U.S. citizenship and ability to obtain a security clearance
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills to address assessment factors
  • Demonstrated knowledge in security, intelligence, or related fields through experience or education

  • Ability to reference specific experiences in responses to mandatory assessment factors
  • Availability for full-time work in the National Capital Region (Washington, D.C.)
