Job Description
Summary
This internship offers college students a chance to gain hands-on experience in information technology roles at a key U.S.
defense site in Alabama, supporting national security missions through teamwork and problem-solving. It involves working on IT projects that help intelligence operations run smoothly.
Ideal candidates are tech-savvy undergrads or grads who are eager to learn, detail-oriented, and passionate about serving the country in a structured government environment.
Key Requirements
- Current enrollment in or recent completion of a degree program in information technology, computer science, or a related field
- Basic knowledge and experience in IT concepts such as networking, cybersecurity, or software development
- Strong written and verbal communication skills to address assessment factors clearly
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented setting across organizational boundaries
- Commitment to ethical standards, integrity, and putting national mission priorities first
- U.S. citizenship and ability to obtain a security clearance
