This is a public notice flyer to notify interested applicants of anticipated vacancies through the Certain Personnel/Modified Direct Hire Authority.

GS-05: A bachelor's degree from an accredited educational institution authorized to grant baccalaureate degrees.

GS-07:In addition to the Basic Requirements for this position, your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level (GS-05) or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector utilizing knowledge of contract administration principles, policies, regulations, practices, or procedures.

Examples of specialized experience may include the following: 1) Assisting in decision making on contracting matters; 2) Aiding in modifying contracts that contain inadequate specification; 3) Participating in meetings to discuss acquisition requirements.

Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., professional, philanthropic, religious, spiritual, community, student, social).

Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment. Major Duties:

• At the GS-5/7/9 you will perform developmental duties as assigned. At the Full Performance Level (GS-12), you will perform the following:
• You will resolve problems inherent in the contracting and teaming processes and provide training to junior team members.
• You will coordinate contractor's requests for waivers or deviations from contract specifications.
• You will perform comprehensive acquisition planning, analysis, and negotiation for repair and/or spare parts acquisitions in support of managed equipment.
• You will develop the contractual strategy and acquisition plan utilizing various innovative contracting vehicles.
• You will evaluate requests for equitable adjustment and special financing provisions.
• You will negotiate changes in price(s), terms and conditions due to contract modifications, supplementary agreements, settlements from change orders due to defective specifications, changed site conditions(s), etc.
